The Melt-in Sleeping Mask instantly breaks into water droplets to pump up skin moisture in 10 minutes. Skin is left hydrated, looking fresher, softer to touch and visibly smoother.
This somptous, bouncy new texture combines the “”plumps with moisture”” effect of a balm, with freshness and lightness.
You can use a small amount as a night cream, or cover your skin in a generous amount for 10 minutes before removing gently with a tissue.
The melt-in texture instantly transforms with the heat of your skin, leaving your skin looking fresher, softer and visibly smoother.
Give your skin the hydration it needs, with this overnight recovery care for a complexion that looks healthier, smoother and more radiant.

I picked up the Lancôme Énergie de Vie The Overnight Recovery Sleeping Mask after it’s much hype throughout the beauty community, and yes I’m a sucker for a “hyped” beauty product 😉 but besides from it’s hype it has had really fantastic reviews and the product itself offers something I can NEVER say no to; hydration!
Not only is the mask suited to us with dry skin, Lancôme claim it is suited for every skin type offering a lot more than just hydration. It is infused with goji berry, lemon balm, and vitamin E to provide your skin with antioxidant protection from free radicals, protecting against water loss during sleep.
The texture is what I would describe as almost gel-like. The gel-like consistency offers a cooling affect when first applied (great after a long day!) Lancôme says when it is applied to the skin, it drops the skin temperature by -1.8 °C, instantly making this feel refreshing and invigorating on the skin.

Texture
The light gel-light cream also contains an 85% aqueous phase rich in active ingredients, tat immediately breaks into water droplets to infuse the skin with moisture, helping to reinforce the skin’s natural barrier and maintain its optimal moisture levels.
Also, because of the light gel formula, the mask sits very comfortably on top of the skin, it does not feel greasy or heavy like a lot of other masks tend to leave my skin feeling. It soaks in to the skin wonderfully, leaving skin feeling refreshed and instantly hydrated.
How to use
Lancôme say to apply a thin layer on clean skin and leave on overnight. For when you need that little “extra” treat: Apply a generous layer on clean skin and keep on for 10 minutes. Remove or blend in any remaining product. Use 2-3 times a week (or as desired!) Because I’m dry I use a generous amount after cleansing and leave it to soak in to the skin for about 5 to 10 minutes and then leave it on for the entire night.
I have to laugh though, Lancôme also claim on their website that it can be used as a Makeup Remover and a Cleanser?!! 🤔”Pull the other one Lancôme“! for €55 a jar, that ain’t ever happening!😆
The following morning after using the mask for the first time I noticed a huge difference in my skins moisture. Not only was my skin soft and hydrated, it felt plumper and honestly more “youthful”(I know “youthful” may sound silly for me to say in my early 30’s, but having dry skin can make me feel like a dried out, old prune sometimes 😀 )
I have been using the mask for the past 4 nights consecutively and I’ve already noticed a great improvement in my skin hydration and texture.
The only negative point I have on this mask is it’s very heavy “perfume” scent . Don’t get me wrong, the scent is lovely but it can be a little overpowering at first, so if you are not one for the smell of perfume in your skincare products, I would recommend giving it a sniff at a Lancôme counter to see if it is to your liking.
You can pick up the Lancôme Énergie de Vie The Overnight Recovery Sleeping Mask at Boots for €55
